C.L. Cannon- My name is Courtney Cannon, writing under the name C.L. Cannon. I’m a

mother of two incredible little boys and the wife of a wonderful man who treats me far better than I deserve. I have always had a strong passion for reading. I wrote my first manuscript when I was nine, and I haven’t stopped since. I have an overwhelming love for anything and everything British! And you’ll often find me mimicking accents. For my day job, I edit books, design covers, make book trailers, and do voice work. In my free time, I write. You can expect book one of my paranormal fantasy series Forget Me Not, in early 2017.

My short story “Chasing Time” which is included in the Holiday Heartwarmers anthology came to me via the lovely Adam Levine as I watched the “Sugar” music video. It’s all about crashing weddings. The sisterly dynamic is closely based on me and my own little sister, who is basically my best friend. The events are completely fabricated, but the bond between Dani and Carly is 100% real. I’ve never had a best guy friend, but I find the subject fascinating. A male/female friendship will play a significant role in Forget Me Not as well.

Kat Lind- I am Kat Lind, the proud possessor of 4 dogs, two cats, 14K books, 5K ebooks and two personalities. I have written non-fiction for decades in a variety of technical and academic venues, teaching classes, and developing my professional life. Recently, I started to write fiction under the pen name of Taki Drake. Taki is an old childhood nickname of mine and it is tied in my mind with a freer and more creative aspect of myself. So now I can sit down to write and ask myself, “Who am I today?” I am continuing to write non-fiction, with technical books and cookbooks scheduled for multiple publication dates this upcoming year, but my journey into fiction is an exciting and scary venture for me. I have stories in both Inanna’s Circle Game anthologies, and those stories will be standalone publications in the next month. The third Inanna’s anthology is scheduled for January and I will be writing for that one also. My goal as a writer is to let my readers immerse themselves in my vision, to travel to the worlds of my mind and to experience my creations. I hope you will travel with me because shared journeys are far more fun. And never boring.
